Specifications

This is a DisplayPort cable, and its video standard is DisplayPort 2.1. The length is 2 m, enough to put the machine a little way from the monitor rather than right behind it.

Both ends are meant for DisplayPort, so the monitor needs a DisplayPort input as well. Part number 102095-2m identifies this exact cable from Cable Matters.

Which mini PCs it fits

The rule is simple: a DisplayPort cable needs a DisplayPort output on the mini PC. The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90q Gen 5, MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro, ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro and ASUS NUC 14 Performance are examples that fit.

The MINISFORUM MS-S1 Max, ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro and ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 do not fit, because none of them has a DisplayPort output. For the GMKtec EVO-X3 and MINISFORUM AtomMan G7 Pro we have not confirmed it fits, because we do not know what DisplayPort outputs they have.

Checked against every mini PC sold on amazon.com, from the specifications we hold for each machine.

Before you buy

Cable Matters does not state this cable's bandwidth or how much power it can carry. Check that your monitor has a DisplayPort input and your mini PC a DisplayPort output, not only USB-C or HDMI.

Common questions

Will this cable work with my mini PC?

Yes, if the machine has a DisplayPort output. The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90q Gen 5 fits, while the MINISFORUM MS-S1 Max has no DisplayPort output, so this cable cannot connect it to a monitor.

Does this cable carry power?

Cable Matters does not state how much power this cable carries, so do not rely on it for anything beyond video. It is a DisplayPort 2.1 cable meant to carry a picture.

Does it work with the GMKtec EVO-X3?

We have not confirmed it fits the GMKtec EVO-X3, because we do not know what DisplayPort outputs it has. Check the machine's own port list for DisplayPort before buying.
