Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5600 SODIMM 32GB Kit

Part numberCMSX32GX5M2A5600C48

The short answer

This is a 32 GB DDR5 SODIMM kit from Corsair, made up of two 16 GB modules running at 5600 MT/s with CL48 latency. It is for a mini PC owner whose machine takes DDR5 SODIMMs and who wants a matched pair of modules in one purchase.

Specifications

The 32 GB total comes as two 16 GB modules, so you fill two sockets and get a matched pair. Speed is 5600 MT/s with CL48 latency. The modules are DDR5 SODIMM. They are not ECC, so this is standard consumer memory. If you need to match a part number when comparing, it is CMSX32GX5M2A5600C48.

Which mini PCs it fits

The rule is simple: a DDR5 SODIMM kit goes in a machine with DDR5 SODIMM sockets. It fits the MINISFORUM MS-01, ACEMAGIC F3A, ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 and Beelink GTi14 Ultra. The ASUS ROG NUC 16, Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250 and HP Z2 Mini G1i fit with a caveat: in each, the memory runs at 5600 MT/s. The ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro takes DDR4, not DDR5, so it does not fit. The Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max) and BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra have memory soldered to the board, so there is no socket for a module.

Before you buy

Check your machine's memory type before buying, because DDR4 machines and soldered-memory machines cannot use this kit. We have not confirmed the fit for the MINISFORUM AtomMan G7 Pro, since its maximum memory is not confirmed, or for the ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro, since we do not know whether its memory is soldered.

Common questions

Is this kit DDR5 or DDR4?

It is DDR5 SODIMM, so it only suits machines with DDR5 SODIMM sockets. The ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro takes DDR4, so this kit does not fit it.

Can I use it in a mini PC with soldered memory?

No. The Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max) and BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra have memory soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.

What speed will it run at?

The kit is 5600 MT/s with CL48. In the ASUS ROG NUC 16, Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250 and HP Z2 Mini G1i, it runs at 5600 MT/s.
