Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5600 SODIMM 32GB

Part numberCMSX32GX5M1A5600C48

The short answer

Corsair's Vengeance is a 32 GB DDR5 SODIMM memory module with a speed of 5600 MT/s and CL48 latency. It suits a mini PC owner whose machine has a DDR5 SODIMM socket and who wants to add or replace memory with one 32 GB module. It is not ECC memory.

Specifications

All 32 GB comes from one module, so this is a single-stick upgrade. The SODIMM format is the module size these sockets take. Its speed is 5600 MT/s with CL48 latency. On the machines with a caveat, it runs at that same 5600 MT/s. The part number, CMSX32GX5M1A5600C48, helps you match this exact module.

Which mini PCs it fits

The rule is simple: a DDR5 SODIMM module goes in a DDR5 SODIMM socket. It fits the Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5, MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro, ACEMAGIC F3A and ASUS ExpertCenter PN65. The ASUS ROG NUC 16, Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250 and HP Z2 Mini G1i also take it, with a caveat: it runs at 5600 MT/s in each. It does not fit the GMKtec NucBox K13, HP Z2 Mini G1a or Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q Gen 6, because their memory is soldered, so there is no socket. For the ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro and Beelink EQi13, we have not confirmed it fits.

  • ACEMAGIC V1: This machine takes DDR4, not DDR5.
  • Apple Mac mini (M6): The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • Beelink ME mini: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • Beelink Mini S12 Pro: This machine takes DDR4, not DDR5.
  • BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • BOSGAME M5: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • GEEKOM A9 Mega: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • GMKtec EVO-X2: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • GMKtec EVO-X3: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • GMKtec NucBox G3S: This machine takes DDR4, not DDR5.
  • MINISFORUM MS-S1 Max: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • MSI MAX Edge AI+: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • NIMO Mini PC Desktop AI Max+ 395: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.

Before you buy

Check for a socket first: some mini PCs solder the memory to the board, and no module can go in. This is one non-ECC module, so it adds a single 32 GB stick, not a pair. Where fit is not confirmed, find out whether the memory is soldered before you buy.

Common questions

Will it work in a mini PC with soldered memory?

No. Where the memory is soldered to the board there is no socket for a module. The GMKtec NucBox K13 and HP Z2 Mini G1a are examples where this module does not fit.

Is this ECC memory?

No. This Corsair module is non-ECC, and it is a DDR5 SODIMM at 5600 MT/s with CL48 latency, so check that your machine takes standard non-ECC memory.

How much memory does one kit give me?

One module of 32 GB, so the total capacity is 32 GB. It is a single stick, which suits a socket that takes a DDR5 SODIMM.
