Which mini PCs it fits
An M.2 2280 NVMe drive goes in an M.2 2280 slot, and PCIe 5.0 speed needs a slot that runs at PCIe 5.0. The ASUS ROG NUC 15, Beelink GTi14 Ultra, GEEKOM A8 Max and GMKtec NucBox G3 take it. The ACEMAGIC V1 and BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra run it at PCIe 3.0 speed, the ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 at PCIe 4.0 speed. The Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max) and Mac mini (M5 Pro) have no M.2 slot. We have not confirmed it fits the GMKtec NucBox M5 Plus, since its number of M.2 slots is not confirmed.

Check the slot before buying: in the ACEMAGIC V1 and BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra the drive is held to PCIe 3.0 speed. With no heatsink fitted, plan for cooling, either the machine's own or one you add. The Apple machines named above have no M.2 slot.

Only in a slot that runs at PCIe 5.0. The ACEMAGIC V1 holds it to PCIe 3.0 speed, and the ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 holds it to PCIe 4.0 speed.
Does it come with a heatsink?
No heatsink is fitted to the WD_BLACK SN8100 1TB, so the drive arrives bare. If your mini PC's slot has no cooling of its own, you would need to add one.
Can I use it in a Mac mini?
The Mac mini (M5 Pro) has no M.2 slot, so this drive does not fit it. The same is true of the Mac Studio (M5 Max) and Mac Studio (M5 Ultra).
