Logitech MX Anywhere 3S, Graphite

Part number910-006929

The short answer

Plug-in wireless is how the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S in Graphite works: it is a mouse on 2.4 GHz wireless with a USB-A receiver. It suits a mini PC owner who can spare a USB-A port for that receiver, and it does not suit one who cannot. The part number is 910-006929.

Specifications

This is a wireless mouse: it reaches the machine on 2.4 GHz through a USB-A receiver, with no cable to run. In practice a USB-A port stays occupied by the receiver, which is worth thinking about on a mini PC with only a few ports. Before you order the Graphite version, part number 910-006929, check that you have that spare port.

Which mini PCs it fits

The receiver sets the rule: the mouse needs a free USB-A port on the machine. The ASUS NUC 14 Pro+, Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max), BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra and BOSGAME M5 have a free USB-A port that takes the receiver. The Apple Mac mini (M6) and Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro) do not fit, because neither has a free USB-A port for the receiver. For the Beelink SER9 and GEEKOM A9 Mega, we have not confirmed it fits, since we do not know their USB-A ports.

Before you buy

Logitech does not state the sensor resolution, so we cannot say how precise the tracking is. The receiver needs a free USB-A port, and the Apple Mac mini (M6) and Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro) have none free. For the Beelink SER9 and GEEKOM A9 Mega, check the ports yourself.
