ASUS ProArt PA32KCX

Part number90LM08C0-B01K70

The same part under other regional numbers: PA32KCX

The short answer

Built around a 32" IPS panel with a 7680x4320 resolution, the ASUS ProArt PA32KCX is a monitor for mini PC owners who want an extremely sharp desk display. It has two Thunderbolt 4 inputs and a built-in KVM switch, so one screen can serve more than one machine.

The monitor's 96 W power delivery will not run the mini PC.

Specifications

The refresh rate is 60 Hz. Inputs are Thunderbolt 4 x2, DisplayPort 2.1 x1 and HDMI 2.1 x2, and the monitor can daisy chain onward to a second display. HDR covers Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. It has a VESA mount and built-in speakers, and the KVM switch is useful if you run two mini PCs.

Which mini PCs it fits

A monitor needs a matching video output, and this one accepts DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 or a USB-C or Thunderbolt 4 connection. It fits the Beelink EQi13, Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250, GEEKOM A8 Max and GMKtec EVO-X2. The BOSGAME M5 and GMKtec EVO-X3 work with a caveat: the monitor's 96 W power delivery will not run either mini PC. We have not confirmed the fit for the ASUS ROG NUC 15 or Beelink GTi14 Ultra, because their HDMI outputs are not confirmed.

Checked against every mini PC sold on amazon.co.uk, from the specifications we hold for each machine.

Before you buy

Power delivery tops out at 96 W, which will not run the BOSGAME M5 or GMKtec EVO-X3, so keep their own power supplies. The refresh rate is 60 Hz. Check your machine's video output before buying, especially the ASUS ROG NUC 15 and Beelink GTi14 Ultra, where we have not confirmed the fit.

Common questions

Can I power my mini PC through the monitor's USB-C port?

The monitor delivers 96 W over USB-C, but that will not run the BOSGAME M5 or GMKtec EVO-X3. Those two need their own power supply alongside the video connection.

Which video inputs does it have?

It has Thunderbolt 4 x2 with daisy chain, one DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 x2. It also accepts video over USB-C, so a mini PC with a matching output can connect directly.

Can two mini PCs share this monitor?

Yes, it has a built-in KVM switch and several video inputs, including Thunderbolt 4 x2, DisplayPort 2.1 x1 and HDMI 2.1 x2, so two machines can be connected at once.
