The short answer

Here is a 32" Mini LED IPS monitor with a 3840x2160 resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification. It is for a mini PC owner who wants a large HDR desk display that a single Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C cable can feed.

The monitor's 90 W power delivery will not run the mini PC.

Specifications

The 32" panel runs at 3840x2160 and 60 Hz. Inputs are two Thunderbolt 4 ports that support daisy chaining, one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0. USB-C carries video with 90 W of power delivery. It can pass video on to a second display through its daisy chain output. HDR covers Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. It also has built-in speakers and a VESA mount.

Which mini PCs it fits

A monitor needs a video output on the mini PC that it accepts: Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C, DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0. The Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro), BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra, Beelink EQ14 and Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250 fit. The GMKtec EVO-X3 and BOSGAME M5 fit with a caveat: the monitor's 90 W of power delivery will not run the mini PC. We have not confirmed the fit for the MSI MAX Edge AI+ or the NIMO Mini PC Desktop AI Max+ 395, since their HDMI outputs are not confirmed.

Before you buy

Check that your mini PC has a Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, DisplayPort or HDMI output before buying. The 90 W of power delivery will not run the GMKtec EVO-X3 or BOSGAME M5. The refresh rate tops out at 60 Hz. ASUS does not confirm whether it has a built-in KVM switch.

Common questions

Can I power my mini PC from this monitor's USB-C port?

Not for the GMKtec EVO-X3 or BOSGAME M5, because the monitor's 90 W power delivery will not run them. Keep their own power supply connected and use the monitor for video.

Does it have a built-in KVM switch?

ASUS does not confirm a built-in KVM switch, so do not count on one. It does have two Thunderbolt 4 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4 input and two HDMI 2.0 inputs for connecting machines.

Does it support HDR?

Yes, it supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG and carries VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification, on a Mini LED IPS panel with a 3840x2160 resolution.
