BenQ Creative Pro PD2705Q

Part number9H.LJELA.TBE

The same part under other regional numbers: PD2705Q

The short answer

Video reaches the BenQ Creative Pro PD2705Q through USB-C alone. It is a 27" IPS monitor with a 2560x1440 resolution, meant for owners whose mini PC can send a picture out of a USB-C port. Check your machine's ports before anything else.

Specifications

The 27" screen has a 2560x1440 resolution and an IPS panel. The USB-C input accepts video directly, so a mini PC with a video-capable USB-C port needs one cable for the picture. Video inputs are USB-C only, so there is no HDMI or DisplayPort socket to fall back on. The part number is 9H.LJELA.TBE.

Which mini PCs it fits

A monitor needs an input that matches an output on your mini PC, and this one takes video only over USB-C. The Apple Mac mini (M6), BOSGAME M5, Beelink SER8 and GEEKOM A8 Max each have an output that matches it. The Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 6, MINISFORUM MS-A2 and ACEMAGIC S1 do not fit, because none of their outputs matches the monitor's input. For the ASUS ROG NUC 15 and Beelink GTi14 Ultra, we have not confirmed the fit, since we lack details of their USB-C ports.

Before you buy

BenQ does not state the refresh rate, DisplayPort or HDMI versions, USB-C power delivery, Thunderbolt input, KVM switch, daisy chain output, HDR, VESA mount or speakers. Do not assume the USB-C cable will charge your machine, and confirm your mini PC's port carries video before ordering.

Common questions

Which mini PCs can drive this monitor?

Its only video input is USB-C, so the machine needs a matching output. The Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 6, for example, does not fit because no output on it matches this monitor.

Does it run at a high refresh rate?

BenQ does not state the refresh rate, so we cannot say how fast it runs. If a high refresh rate matters to you, check the maker's page before buying.

Can the USB-C cable also power my device?

BenQ does not state USB-C power delivery, so do not count on charging over the cable. The USB-C input does accept video, which is what a mini PC needs from it.
