Philips 27E1N1300A

Part number27E1N1300A/00

The same part under other regional numbers: 27E1N1300A

The short answer

Video over HDMI or USB-C is how the Philips 27E1N1300A connects: it is a 27" IPS monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution and a 100 Hz refresh rate, with built-in speakers. It suits a mini PC owner who wants a straightforward desk display and has a matching video output on the machine.

Specifications

This is a 27" IPS panel at 1920x1080, which gives a straightforward desk picture rather than a high-detail one. The 100 Hz refresh rate keeps everyday desktop motion smooth. Video comes in over HDMI or USB-C, and the USB-C input accepts video, so a mini PC with a video-capable USB-C port can connect with one cable. Built-in speakers mean you can get sound without separate ones.

Which mini PCs it fits

A monitor needs an input that matches an output on the mini PC, and this one offers HDMI and USB-C video. The Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q Gen 6, MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro, ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro and ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 each have an output it can use. The HP Z2 Mini G1i, Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Ultra SFF Gen 2 and Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250 do not fit: none of their outputs matches an input on the monitor. For the ASUS ROG NUC 15 and Beelink GTi14 Ultra we have not confirmed the fit, because we do not know their HDMI outputs.

Before you buy

Philips does not state the DisplayPort version, HDMI version, USB-C power delivery, Thunderbolt input, built-in KVM switch, daisy chain output, HDR support or VESA mount. So do not count on the USB-C port charging a laptop, and check the mount before you buy an arm. There is no DisplayPort input, so a machine with only DisplayPort outputs will not connect.

Common questions

Can I connect it to my mini PC over USB-C?

Yes, it has a USB-C video input, so a mini PC with a USB-C port that outputs video can drive it. Philips does not state USB-C power delivery, so charging is not confirmed.

Can I put it on a monitor arm?

Philips does not state whether it has a VESA mount, so we cannot confirm it. Check the mounting details with the maker before buying an arm.

Will it work with the HP Z2 Mini G1i?

No. None of that machine's outputs matches the HDMI or USB-C video inputs on this monitor, so it does not fit.
