Philips 27E1N1300AM

Part number27E1N1300AM/00

The same part under other regional numbers: 27E1N1300AM

The short answer

Anyone with a spare HDMI output on a mini PC can run the Philips 27E1N1300AM, a 27" IPS monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It has built-in speakers, so sound can come from the monitor itself, but video arrives over HDMI only.

Specifications

The panel is a 27" IPS at 1920x1080, with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Video comes in over HDMI, and there is no USB-C video input, so a machine with only USB-C video output will not connect to it directly. Built-in speakers cover sound without a separate pair.

Which mini PCs it fits

This monitor takes video over HDMI only and has no USB-C video input, so the mini PC needs an HDMI output. The MINISFORUM AtomMan G1 Pro, ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro, ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 and Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max) each have an output this monitor accepts. The HP Z2 Mini G1a, Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Ultra SFF Gen 2 and Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250 do not fit, because none of their outputs matches the monitor's input. For the ASUS ROG NUC 15 and BOSGAME M5, we have not confirmed it fits, because details of their HDMI outputs are missing.

Before you buy

Philips does not state the DisplayPort version, HDMI version, USB-C power delivery, Thunderbolt input, built-in KVM switch, daisy chain output, HDR support, HDR certification or VESA mount. If you want a monitor arm, confirm the mount with Philips first.

Common questions

Can I connect this monitor over USB-C?

No. It has no USB-C video input and takes video over HDMI only, so your mini PC needs an HDMI output and a matching cable to use it.

Does it work with the Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max)?

Yes. The Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max) has an output this monitor's input accepts, so it fits. The MINISFORUM AtomMan G1 Pro is another machine that fits.

Can I put it on a monitor arm?

Philips does not state whether it has a VESA mount, so confirm that with Philips before you buy a monitor arm or wall bracket.
