Corsair Vengeance DDR5-4800 SODIMM 32GB Kit

Part numberCMSX32GX5M2A4800C40

The short answer

Corsair's Vengeance SODIMM kit gives a DDR5 mini PC 32 GB of memory as two 16 GB modules, running at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency. It suits an owner whose machine has DDR5 SODIMM sockets and wants a plain 32 GB upgrade.

Specifications

The kit totals 32 GB, split into two 16 GB modules, so it fills two SODIMM sockets. The speed is 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency. That is the figure to compare against what your machine supports, since the kit is DDR5 and works only in a DDR5 machine. The part number is CMSX32GX5M2A4800C40, useful if you want to find the same kit again.

Which mini PCs it fits

The rule is simple: a DDR5 SODIMM module goes in a DDR5 SODIMM socket. It fits the ASUS NUC 14 Pro+, Beelink GTi14 Ultra, GEEKOM A8 Max and GMKtec NucBox K10. It also fits the ACEMAGIC F3A, ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 and Beelink SER8, though each runs it at 4800 MT/s. It does not fit the Apple Mac mini (M6), BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra or BOSGAME M5, because their memory is soldered and there is no socket. For the MINISFORUM AtomMan G1 Pro and ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro we have not confirmed it fits.

Fits, with a note (13)

Not confirmed (1)

  • Beelink EQi13: Not confirmed: no record of whether this machine's memory is soldered.

Does not fit (18)

  • ACEMAGIC S1: This machine takes DDR4, not DDR5.
  • Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro): The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • Apple Mac mini (M6): The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max): The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • Beelink EQ14: This machine takes DDR4, not DDR5.
  • Beelink EQi12: This machine takes DDR4, not DDR5.
  • Beelink EQR5: This machine takes DDR4, not DDR5.
  • Beelink EQR6: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • Beelink ME mini: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • BOSGAME M5: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • GEEKOM A9 Mega: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • GMKtec EVO-X2: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.

  • GMKtec NucBox K13: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • HP Z2 Mini G1a: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q Gen 6: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.
  • MINISFORUM MS-S1 Max: The memory is soldered to the board, so there is no socket to put a module in.

Before you buy

Corsair does not state whether this kit supports ECC, so do not assume it does. Machines with soldered memory have no socket for it, whatever the kit's specs. Before buying for the MINISFORUM AtomMan G1 Pro, check its maximum memory, and for the ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro, check whether the memory is soldered.

Common questions

Will this kit fit my mini PC?

It fits if the machine has DDR5 SODIMM sockets, because this kit is DDR5 SODIMM. Machines with soldered memory, such as the Apple Mac mini (M6), have no socket to take a module.

Is this ECC memory?

Corsair does not state whether this kit supports ECC, so we cannot say it does. If ECC matters to you, look for a kit where the maker confirms it.

How much memory is in the kit and how fast is it?

The kit totals 32 GB and comes as two modules of 16 GB each. It runs at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency, so it is a DDR5 kit for sockets of that generation.
