Kingston FURY Impact DDR4-3200 64GB Kit

Part numberKF432S20IBK2/64

The short answer

For a DDR4 mini PC that needs a lot of memory, this Kingston FURY Impact kit (part number KF432S20IBK2/64) supplies two 32 GB SODIMM modules, 64 GB in total, at 3200 MT/s. It is aimed at owners whose machine has DDR4 SODIMM sockets and accepts that much memory.

Specifications

Each module holds 32 GB, and there are two in the kit, so you get 64 GB across two sockets. Speed is 3200 MT/s with CL20 latency. This is DDR4 in the SODIMM format, so it only suits machines built around that generation and module type. It is not ECC memory.

Which mini PCs it fits

DDR4 SODIMM modules go in DDR4 SODIMM sockets, and the machine has to accept 64 GB. The GMKtec NucBox G10, ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro, Beelink EQR5 and GMKtec NucBox M5 Plus take this kit. The GMKtec G11 Plus does not, because 64 GB is more than the 32 GB it takes. The HP Z2 Mini G1a has soldered memory and no socket, and the Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 takes DDR5. For the Beelink EQi13 and ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro we have not confirmed the fit, because it is not confirmed whether their memory is soldered.

Checked against every mini PC sold on amazon.co.uk, from the specifications we hold for each machine.

Before you buy

Check your machine's maximum memory before buying, because 64 GB is more than the G11 Plus accepts. Also confirm the memory sits in a socket rather than being soldered, and that the machine is DDR4, not DDR5. This kit is not ECC, so look elsewhere if you need that.

Common questions

Will this kit work in a DDR5 mini PC?

No. It is DDR4 SODIMM memory, and a DDR5 machine such as the Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 takes DDR5 modules instead, so the kit does not fit it.

Is this ECC memory?

No. This kit is non-ECC, so it is not the right choice if your machine or workload calls for ECC modules.

How is the 64 GB split across the kit?

The kit has two modules of 32 GB each, which makes 64 GB in total, running at 3200 MT/s with CL20 latency.
