The short answer
The Corsair MP700 ELITE 2TB is an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD with a PCIe 5.0 interface and 2 TB of capacity.
It suits an owner whose mini PC has a standard M.2 2280 slot and who can sort out cooling, since no heatsink is fitted.
Specifications
The drive holds 2 TB, which is room for a large library or several projects on one drive.
It uses NVMe over PCIe 5.0, which only pays off in a slot that runs at that generation. The M.2 2280 size is what your slot has to accept. No heatsink is fitted, so the drive arrives bare and you rely on your machine's own cooling or add a heatsink yourself.

Which mini PCs it fits
An M.2 2280 NVMe drive needs an M.2 2280 slot. It fits the GMKtec NucBox G3 Plus, HP Z2 Mini G1i, Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tiny Gen 2 and MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro. The Beelink SER8, Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250 and GEEKOM A9 Mega fit it too, but their slot runs at PCIe 4.0 speed. The Apple Mac mini (M6), Mac Studio (M5 Max) and Mac Studio (M5 Ultra) have no M.2 slot, so it does not fit. We have not confirmed the fit for the GMKtec NucBox M5 Plus or NIMO Mini PC Desktop AI Max+ 395.
Checked against every mini PC sold on amazon.co.uk, from the specifications we hold for each machine.

Before you buy
Corsair does not state the sequential read or write speed, the endurance, whether the drive has a DRAM cache, or whether it is single-sided. Single-sided matters in a tight slot, so check clearance first. In machines with a PCIe 4.0 slot, you will not get PCIe 5.0 speed.
Common questions
Will it run at full PCIe 5.0 speed in my mini PC?
Only if the slot supports PCIe 5.0. In the Beelink SER8, Dell Pro Max Micro FCM2250 and GEEKOM A9 Mega, the slot runs at PCIe 4.0 speed instead.
Does it come with a heatsink?
No. No heatsink is fitted, so cooling depends on your mini PC's own provision or a heatsink you add yourself before installing the drive.
Can I use it in a Mac mini or Mac Studio?
No. The Apple Mac mini (M6), Mac Studio (M5 Max) and Mac Studio (M5 Ultra) have no M.2 slot, so this M.2 2280 drive has nowhere to go.
