The short answer
Crucial T705 2TB with heatsink is a 2 TB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD on PCIe 5.0, sold with its heatsink already fitted. It is for a mini PC owner who has an M.2 2280 slot with room above it and wants a fast PCIe 5.0 drive for storage.
Specifications
It holds 2 TB. Sequential read is 14500 MB/s and sequential write is 12700 MB/s, on its PCIe 5.0 interface. A slot that only runs at PCIe 3.0 speed, as on the ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro, will not reach those figures. The heatsink is already on the drive, so it stands taller than a bare M.2 stick and you should plan for that height.

Which mini PCs it fits
An M.2 2280 NVMe drive goes in an M.2 2280 slot, and this is one. The MINISFORUM AtomMan G7 Pro and MSI MAX Edge AI+ take it, but check clearance for the heatsink. The ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro needs the same check and runs the drive at PCIe 3.0 speed. The Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro), Mac mini (M6) and Mac Studio (M5 Max) have no M.2 slot. For the GMKtec NucBox M5 Plus and NIMO Mini PC Desktop AI Max+ 395, we have not confirmed it fits, because we have not confirmed how many M.2 slots they have.

Before you buy
Check clearance above the slot before buying, since the heatsink is part of the drive. Crucial does not state the drive's endurance, whether it has a DRAM cache, or whether it is single-sided.
Common questions
Can I use it in a Mac mini or Mac Studio?
No. The Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro) and Mac mini (M6) have no M.2 slot, and neither does the Mac Studio (M5 Max), so this M.2 2280 drive has nowhere to go.
Does it come with a heatsink?
Yes, the heatsink is already fitted. That makes clearance the thing to check, as on the MINISFORUM AtomMan G7 Pro and MSI MAX Edge AI+, where the fit comes with that caveat.
Will it hit its quoted speed in any mini PC?
Not always. In the ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro the slot runs the drive at PCIe 3.0 speed, so the 14500 MB/s sequential read figure is out of reach there.
