Which mini PCs it fits
An M.2 2280 NVMe drive goes in an M.2 2280 slot. The MINISFORUM MS-02 Ultra 235HX, MSI MAX Edge AI+, ACEMAGIC F3A and ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 take it without a caveat. The ACEMAGIC S1, BMAX MaxMini B4 Ultra and Beelink EQ14 take it too, but their slot runs it at PCIe 3.0 speed. The Apple Mac mini (M6) and Mac Studio (M5 Max and M5 Ultra) have no M.2 slot, so it does not fit. For the ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro and GMKtec NucBox M5 Plus we have not confirmed it fits, because we do not know how many M.2 slots they have.

Before you buy
Check your slot's PCIe generation first, since some machines run this drive at PCIe 3.0 speed. Samsung does not state the drive's sequential write speed, endurance, DRAM cache or whether it is single-sided.
Common questions
Will it work in a Mac mini or Mac Studio?
No. The Apple Mac mini (M6), Mac Studio (M5 Max) and Mac Studio (M5 Ultra) have no M.2 slot, so an M.2 2280 drive has nowhere to go.
Does it run at full speed in a Beelink EQ14?
It fits, but the slot in the Beelink EQ14 runs it at PCIe 3.0 speed, so you will not get the drive's PCIe 4.0 performance there.
Does it come with a heatsink?
No. This Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB has no heatsink fitted, so it is a bare M.2 2280 stick and any cooling has to come from your machine or a separate part.
