The short answer
Samsung's 990 PRO 1TB with Heatsink is an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD on PCIe 4.0 with 1 TB of capacity. The heatsink comes already fitted. It is for a mini PC owner with a free M.2 2280 slot who wants a quick drive and has checked the clearance above it.
Specifications
The drive holds 1 TB. Its sequential read is 7450 MB/s over NVMe PCIe 4.0. The M.2 2280 size needs a slot of that length.
The heatsink is already fitted, so you do not need to buy one separately, though it means the drive needs more room above it than a bare one. The part number is MZ-V9P1T0CW, handy if you want to match the exact model.

Which mini PCs it fits
The rule is simple: an M.2 2280 NVMe drive goes in an M.2 2280 slot.
The GMKtec NucBox M6 Ultra, HP Z2 Mini G1a and Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 fit with a caveat: check clearance for the heatsink. The Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max), Apple Mac Studio (M5 Ultra) and Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro) do not fit, because they have no M.2 slot.
We have not confirmed the fit for the ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro or GMKtec NucBox M5 Plus, whose number of M.2 slots is not confirmed.
Checked against every mini PC sold on amazon.co.uk, from the specifications we hold for each machine.

Before you buy
Check clearance before buying: the heatsink means this drive needs more room than a bare one, and the three machines named above carry that warning.
Samsung does not state the drive's sequential write speed, endurance, DRAM cache or whether it is single-sided.
Common questions
Will it fit my Apple Mac mini?
It does not fit the Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro), because that machine has no M.2 slot. The same goes for the Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max) and Apple Mac Studio (M5 Ultra).
Do I need to buy a separate heatsink?
No, the heatsink is already fitted. The trade-off is clearance, so check that your machine has room, as you should for the GMKtec NucBox M6 Ultra.
How fast is it?
Samsung gives a sequential read of 7450 MB/s over NVMe PCIe 4.0, but it does not state the sequential write speed.
