The short answer
An endurance of 2400 TBW stands out on the WD_BLACK SN8100 4TB, a 4 TB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD on PCIe 5.0 with a DRAM cache. It is for a mini PC owner with a free PCIe 5.0 slot of that size who wants one large, very fast drive.
Specifications
The drive holds 4 TB. Sequential read is 14900 MB/s and sequential write is 14000 MB/s, and since the interface is PCIe 5.0, those figures assume a slot of that generation. Endurance is 2400 TBW, and the drive has a DRAM cache. It is single-sided, with chips on one face only. No heatsink is fitted, so cooling depends on your machine.

Which mini PCs it fits
An M.2 2280 NVMe drive needs an M.2 2280 slot, and this PCIe 5.0 drive only reaches full speed in a slot of that generation. It fits the MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro, MSI MAX Edge AI+, ASUS NUC 14 Performance and Beelink GTi14 Ultra. The GMKtec EVO-X3, HP Z2 Mini G1a and Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 run it at PCIe 4.0 speed.
The Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro), Mac mini (M6) and Mac Studio (M5 Max) have no M.2 slot, so it does not fit. We have not confirmed it fits the ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro or GMKtec NucBox M5 Plus.
Checked against every mini PC sold on amazon.co.uk, from the specifications we hold for each machine.

Before you buy
In the PCIe 4.0 machines above, the drive works but you will not see its PCIe 5.0 speeds. It arrives without a heatsink, so check what cooling your slot offers. Before ordering for the ACEMAGIC or GMKtec NucBox machines, confirm how many M.2 slots they have.
Common questions
Will it run at full speed in my mini PC?
The drive is built for PCIe 5.0 in an M.2 2280 slot. The GMKtec EVO-X3, HP Z2 Mini G1a and Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 take it but run it at PCIe 4.0 speed.
Does it come with a heatsink?
No. The WD_BLACK SN8100 4TB has no heatsink fitted, so check whether your mini PC's slot offers its own cooling before you install a drive this fast.
Does it work in an Apple Mac mini or Mac Studio?
No. The Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro), Mac mini (M6) and Mac Studio (M5 Max) have no M.2 slot, and this is an M.2 2280 drive, so there is nowhere to install it.
