The short answer
A write speed of 6600 MB/s sits alongside a 7300 MB/s read on the WD_BLACK SN850X 4TB, a 4 TB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD on PCIe 4.0 from WD. It suits a mini PC owner with a free M.2 2280 slot who wants a lot of storage on one drive, and it ships without a heatsink.
Specifications
The 4 TB capacity gives you room for a large library on one drive. Sequential read is 7300 MB/s and sequential write 6600 MB/s, and those speeds belong to a slot that runs at PCIe 4.0. Endurance is 2400 TBW. It is not a single-sided drive. It has no heatsink fitted, so check what cooling your machine's slot offers.

Which mini PCs it fits
It is an M.2 2280 NVMe drive, so it needs an M.2 2280 slot. The ACEMAGIC F3A, ASUS ExpertCenter PN65, BOSGAME M5 and Beelink EQR6 take it. The Beelink EQ14, GMKtec G11 Plus and ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro also take it, but the slot runs it at PCIe 3.0 speed. The Apple Mac Studio (M5 Max), Mac Studio (M5 Ultra) and Mac mini (M5 Pro) have no M.2 slot, so it does not fit. For the NIMO Mini PC Desktop AI Max+ 395 and ACEMAGIC AM08 Pro, we have not confirmed it fits, because the number of M.2 slots in each is not confirmed.
Checked against every mini PC sold on amazon.co.uk, from the specifications we hold for each machine.

Before you buy
Three machines that take it, the Beelink EQ14, GMKtec G11 Plus and ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro, hold it to PCIe 3.0 speed, so expect slower speeds than the 7300 MB/s read. WD does not state whether the drive has a DRAM cache. Check your machine has a free M.2 2280 slot before buying.
Common questions
Does the WD_BLACK SN850X 4TB run at full speed in a mini PC?
Only where the slot runs PCIe 4.0. In the Beelink EQ14, GMKtec G11 Plus and ACEMAGIC AM06 Pro it runs at PCIe 3.0 speed, so it does not reach its 7300 MB/s read.
Does it come with a heatsink?
No, it has no heatsink fitted. It is not single-sided either. Check the cooling your machine's slot offers before you fit it.
Can I fit it in the Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro)?
No. The Apple Mac mini (M5 Pro) has no M.2 slot, and this drive is an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD, so there is nowhere to fit it.
